The night I stayed there I was the only guest in the whole guesthouse. The two hosts, who are sisters, were very nice. They told me that the house is over 100 years old and it used to be owned by their grandmother who was a geisha!

Our host recommended us one of the best ramen in Himeji. Highly recommend this amazing accommodation! We will definitely come back to this amazing place and Himeji is really chill.

The location of the property is within walking distance to the attraction places. Unless you have car, 10 to 20 minutes walking distance is acceptable. The property itself is well equipped and you just bring in your stuff and can stay there for a short break like your home. The property itself is a detached single story traditional house, and is a live show case about local Japanese culture. The owner also displays promotion materials about the local environs which suitable for new comer like us in the local community. The property is a quiet place. Having said that, depends on your requirement of "quiet", the property is adjoining to a main county road which means cars are passing through day and night, though not frequent. The owner is a nice gentleman and willing at all time to give you a helping hand in providing advices in the local community such as traveling, dining and sight seeing. To a traveler, a clean, comfort and safe place to stay is essential to release of uncertainty. The property and the owner do this well.
