I like everything about it! The room was clean, enough space for to put my bags, the staff were nice, the onsen was good (the temperature is a bit lukewarm though), the food was good as well. I love everything about it.

The dinner was of great value and a great way to meet and connect with other guests. I loved cooking over hot coals. It was very fun and delicious. The whole building was very beautiful and old. It felt very authentic. The location is great. It is right next to the Hakone Open Air Museum.

The location is super close to the station but in a quiet street. The private room has a good size for one person+big luggage, and two people can make do. Shared toilets and shower are fine. The complete kitchen is useful when food options are scarce. The kotatsu in the shared lobby is a hit! The owner is helpful, knowledgeable and likes to spend time with the guests, so every evening is a delight :)

It was a lovely stay at guesthouse kenken. The house is run by a couple that takes amazing care of their guest, they make you feel right at home! Its a traditional japanese house and very clean. They have a kitchen available and a beautiful little terrace, also a pick up service to and from hota train station. The town of hota is small but very beautiful and peaceful. You can do many activities in the area, for example hike the mountain that is right next door, with a beautiful view over the coast. And the sunset with a view of Mt. Fuji ist just magical. I can only recommend that you visit this guest house when you are in the area. Thank you again for the amazing service and I really enjoyed my stay here :)

The owners were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The facility is a former Geisha School which was very interesting; the place is very well maintained and very cozy while also keeping the Japanese traditional spirit. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant has an Argentinian-inspired menu. Everything was wonderful. The owners also offered a free service of electric bicycles which came in handy when exploring the city. The location was good, close to the main street and Kiryu station. If you want to experience a pleasant stay at a Japanese-Argentinian-style place, this is definitely the perfect choice!

Very pleasant night. The owner of the accommodation takes care of every detail, from your welcome with recommendations on what to visit in the area to a very good and complete breakfast in the morning completely free of charge. The room is very comfortable, futon on tatami, and there are two bathrooms to share with the other guests. You also have the possibility to leave your luggage in the accommodation before and after check-in and check-out. Highly recommended.
