The owners were so nice and friendly. The woman speaks good English and they do their best to inform us on the things to do around. The breakfast was just amazing and generous ! Even the house is really cute and comfortable ! You definitely have to come here if you want to visit the area !

We had an amazing time and evening with them and the other guests. We also were helped out with a vegeterian dinner since the restaurants nearby did not offer such an option. Our unexpected highlight of the trip!

The view is amazing and the interior is cute and beautiful. I especially appreciate the fireplace, it made the whole house very warm and cozy. The warmness is especially important in houses in Japan - in almost half of my stats during the trip it was freezing cold with AC being of little help. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He helped us to get the luggage up the stairs, gave nice travel advice, it was really fun to talk to him. In the morning he helped us with the coffee machine and with the tea for my mother, I was really greatful. And of course the dog! The owner's dog Leo - fluffiest and cutest golden retriever also lives in his own room in the house. The owner took it out to interact with guests upon their request and Leo was such a good boy! Very calm and well-trained, I fully converted to a dog person now.

Nice room, comfy japanese-style beds, everything was spotless. Kitchen available. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Onsen nearby, too. Lovely garden/common space with bonfire. But the very best point was the owner, a supernice guy who gave us a lot of useful suggestions. It was lovely to chat with him over a glass of shochu! Super recommended

Wakka encontra-se em Minami Aso, a 31 km de Estádio Egao Kenko e a 37 km de Parque Suizenji. We loved our stay at Wakka! We were greeted by the friendly couple and Akira the cat :) Even though we were early we could check in. The house was beautiful and cozy with lovely big windows to the mountains. It was super clean and well planned, so we could easily stay four people. The kind hostess gave us tips about nearby supermarket, so we coule buy food and eat at the outdor table :) When we left we were offerer homemade onigiri! We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

The location and owners make this homestay special. The latter is at the foot of a historic and important Buddhist shrine and resting place of Kato Kiyomasa, builder of the Kumamoto Castle, while the former are generations-old family of soba makers. While breakfast didn't come with soba, it was one of the best I've eaten in Japan. The space is comfortable, traditional and has everything you may need, including excellent views of the city.

Minpaku Jaito-民泊じゃいと-Homestay in Traditional House encontra-se em Amakusa, na região de Kumamoto, nas proximidades de Hondo Beach, e apresenta acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento... All in all a perfekt stay. Especially the hosts were really great. On my leaving day they had a trip planed into the same direction I was heading. Not only did they bring me to the harbor, we also had a little sightseeing tour on the way :)
