Newly renovated. Staff very helpful. Shared kitchen was immaculate and well stocked. Onsen close by. We had a fabulous stay.

Andy and the staff at Dark Horse are helpful and friendly. The accommodation feels so cozy, it's a home away from home. I stayed in the hostel room and it's very clean and comfortable. There is even a TV in my little space that I could watch Youtube and Netflix on. They provide free transport to Happo-one, Goryu and Sanosaka ski resorts. If you want to go to the other ski resorts, the staff can drop you at Happo Bus Terminal where you can catch the free shuttle bus. Free breakfast is also provided.

I absolutely loved my stay. The house was clean and my room was very comfortable. The common area was also very tidy and nice; I had a fun evening with a Japanese family who was spending the night there. The host is amazing and very caring - he used a little device to communicate with me in my native language, and at some point he even offered to drive me to a sento (which would have been a 30min walk). 5 stars!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The place is very clean, and the amenities are extremely comfortable. The hosts are incredibly kind—they even picked me up from the Liyama station. This is an excellent accommodation if you’re planning to go skiing, as the host is kind enough to drive you to the Liyama station, where you can catch a bus to your preferred ski resort.

Clean, close to the lifts at the top of the hill, great private onsen, lovely owners and comfortable beds.

Shioriya tọa lạc ở Nagano, cách Ga Nagano 7.6 km và Đền thờ Zenkoji 10 km. The Hosts were superb. The breakfast meals were wonderful. They sent us back to the USA with some of their favorite treats and a gift for our young daughters. She taught us to make an origami crane. It was easy to find off the bus line from Nagano station and they gave us excellent tour recommendations when we decided to skip skiing due to lack of fresh snow.
