We love the place, the house is very new and taken care of. It was a short walking distance to JR Nikko Station. Mrs. Arai was kind to prepare for us a very nice breakfast with full of fruit and veggies. Thank you for the stay!

The location is very convenient, the accommodation is in walking distance from both railway stations and the bus terminal. Restaurants, convenience stores, and shops are also very close by. Yoshi-san and Rie-san are fantastic hosts, who go to great lengths to make your stay as comfortable as possible and keep the guest house impeccably clean. Yoshi-san was so kind and shared restaurant recommendations, information regarding attractions and even took us guests on a great hike to a waterfall. The room was very clean and warm even during winter, and the beds very comfortable. The shared facilities are also exceptionally clean, and amenities are provided. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with anything you need, and the communal area is stocked with free drinks and snacks. Indeed, spending my evenings there and hanging out with other guests and Yoshi-san were the favourite parts of my stay. He's an excellent conversation partner and a very curious person, the hours flew by in an instant. At the end of my stay, he even took a few fantastic portrait photos for me to take home.
