We really like the location, close to major train routes, but far enough to feel calm and quiet. You can easily walk to Asakusa too. Easy to access, and love having the facilities to wash clothes and cook meals. Decent cupboard spaces for storing clothes and keeping suitcases out of the way. View from top floor is lovely, the Skytree is so pretty at night.

After some busy days in Tokyo it was so great to come here to relax! It also is at a very good distance to walk up Mount Mitake from here which is definitely a must in it self. The owners were the sweetest people and they also offered to serve breakfast if for a fee of 1000yen for two people, and I would say that it was very much worth it if you would like to experience traditional Japanese breakfast. This is also very much a small town, and thigs close early around 4-6pm, they also do not have a konbini in the area but if you take the train to the next station there will be one very close to the train stop. The owners will tell you the name and location if you ask. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely like to come back the next time we are going abroad to Japan again.

The combination of old traditional Japanese house, a lot of wood work, the white separating walls and the surrounding nature allowed us to really calm down.

Comfortable, quiet room on the second floor with the shared toilet and shower room nearby. The kitchen and common area were a useful bonus for a quick breakfast put together from the Lawson convenience store opposite. The hotel owners were delightful, always available to offer help and advice. The subway is a short walk away, with lots of cafés and restaurants nearby.

銀河荘-Galaxy Guesthouse 12歳以下不可 se află în Hachijō, la 3,6 km de Ubai Homei Shrine, și oferă cazare de 2 stele, o grădină, un lounge comun și o terasă. The place is very cozy and the atmosphere chill. It feels like staying at your own place. The owner are very kind and they speak perfect English. If you go to Hachijojima, this is the place you should book!

Stepping into Guesthouse toco felt like walking into a space untouched by time. It was so serene, so cosy, in a part of Japan that met the right balance of local and touristy. Lovely hospitality, and they had everything you need for a comfortable stay - kitchenware, clean bathrooms and cosy beds. They provide towels and bedsheets too :-) I had the most moving conversations over the dinner table with travellers from around the world. Guesthouse toco is the kind of place to attract that crowd - open and warm explorers with stories to trade over konbini dinner and green tea.
