Also came at the very beginning to greet us and make sure we understood everything and have settled well. Offered several times to help us with transport when he was near the building on rainy days and provided us with tips and advices for events that were happening during our stay. Since it is Tokyo and everything is very close to each other, there were provided ear plugs for more sensitive to noise people - for us the noise was from the train was not a problem. My friend loved the opportunity to take long and relaxing baths in the japanese bath. Would definitely book again if I have a stay in Tokyo.

Absolutely delightful experience staying here and will try to book the same room again next time! Room was very spacious. The twin room was clearly a standard Japanese studio apartment with a lovely small kitchen and big bathroom and shower room. The room was very comfy and clean. It had all the amenities that we needed for our 2 week stay. I was so grateful they had an iron and ironing board, and they even had 2 umbrellas which was very useful! There was also plenty of storage space in the closet for a few large luggage and plenty of hangers to organize our clothes. The location is also fantastic. Just far away enough from all the noise and traffic of high tourist area, but also extremely convenient in terms of transportation to just about anywhere in Tokyo. Oshiage Station and Tokyo Skytree Station are both only 10 minutes walk away that easily connected us to the rest of Tokyo. Otherwise, there are plenty of convenient bus lines less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel that takes you everywhere else.

Tetsuji and Yoko were amazing hosts! They were the kindest couple! The sleeping rooms were beautiful with tatami mat floors and rice paper screens. We went in the winter, so it was a bit cold, but the room comes with a kotatsu table (low table with a built in heater and blanket) and it was amazingly cozy. The view from the room is also incredible, overlooking a ravine with a rushing river. In the morning the made us a delicious breakfast of rice, soup, salted fish, mountain yam and an assortment of other goodies for only ¥1000! They have cats on premise, fyi if you’re allergic, they were only with us at breakfast (obviously not in our rooms) but they are such sweet kitties! From Tersuji and Yoko, to the cozy vibes, to the attentiveness and care - It was like being taken care of by my own grandparents!

She was polite and nice, cooked me a delicious breakfast, and even helped me with transportation. It was such a cozy little location that was everything I needed- clean, safe, warm, and homely. Highly recommended!
