Eugene the owner was wonderful, he arranged a great half day tuk tuk trip to see the local area (hidden cave was terrific) and our connecting transport to Ha Tien. A genuinely lovely bloke. The room was light and spacious , good aircon and 15 min walk to the riverfront where there are lots of bars and restaurants.

Very nice place, well-situated, friendly atmosphere, helping owners (you can rent scooters, have your laundry done, buy boat or bus tickets with them, have useful information, etc.) and very good value for money. And the breakfast is delicious!

Convenience is key here. The Seagull boasts a handy tour desk and is just a five-minute walk from the vibrant riverfront promenade, where you'll find the lively night and seafood markets, diverse quality restaurants, the serene Lotus Pond, the dazzling Seahorse fountain and light show, and unique floating restaurants. Beyond the hotel, I discovered the incredibly friendly community of Krong Kampot 💙. For anyone visiting Kampot, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. ✨👍😊

We stayed in this hidden gem for more than a week and we quickly felt very much at home there. The bungalows are comfortable and set nicely apart in the beautiful tropical garden. The cherry on the cake is the loving care we felt from Dany and Tith, for the guests and for the place. If you are looking for a quiet place just outside Kampot, we highly recommend! And what we liked about the location was that it was just outside of town and therefor quiet and surrounded by nature. It only took a 5 minute Tuk-tuk to get to the centre of town.

The location is excellent — it's within walking distance to Hippocampus statue and the river side Park.
