Meta, the owner of the homestay, was the most amazing man. He welcomed me into his home and family and showed me around his country with passion and joy. He gave me personal tours of Angkor Wat and the floating village on Tonle Sap lake. I stayed in a little private bungalow that had the sweetest porch, a fan inside to keep cool, and hot water. If you need anything, Meta or his family, is there to help in an instant. The property is 30 minutes from town but Meta will arrange a tuk tuk easily or I rented a bike to make it easy. Staying at Kakrona Pouk homestay let me experience true Cambodian life and I am forever grateful.

Anou is a fantastic host and spoilt us with fresh fruit, baking and desserts. She was always available if we had any questions. I would recommend staying with Anou without hesitation.
