We booked the twin room with bath and it was huge, a separate toilet and bathroom and additional separate seating area. Very clean. William is a brilliant host, very welcoming and helpful. Super easy to rent bikes at the property so you can leave first thing for Angkor Wat sunrise.

Phirom is certified Tourguide for the Angkor Wat area - we booked two days with him. It is incredible to see his passion and pride about his culture. For us it was important to find special photo spots - Phirom knew them all, additional to the “common “ ones. With Sothea we did a Cambodian cooking class, which was totally worth it. Everyone is speaking really good englisch and the other guests are open and welcoming. I would defensively recommend this Homestay in any regards.

After traveling through Asia for a while this was the first place we felt sorry to leave behind. Meta and his family are very good people. Village life in Cambodia is something different. Something you really need to experience. It's way better than staying in luxury. The people in the village are so authentic. Also we enjoyed good homemade food at Meta's place. So go there hungry.

Rickshaw to town is ca 2$, so if you want to go to pub street, all is easy.

I stayed at Angkor Gecko’s Inn during my trip to Siem Reap and really enjoyed it. The place has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the location on Sok San Road makes it easy to explore the town. Close to food, shops, and everything you need. My room was clean, comfortable, had good air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were wonderful; friendly and always ready to help. Angkor Gecko’s is a comfortable inn, with nice touches like a cosy bar, pool and fussball tables. Overall, great value and a place I’d happily return to.
