Clean, confortable and the location is really quiet. I highly recommended this hotel. It was the most clean place comparing with other hotels that Id been in all of Laos. And the owner of the hotel is really Kind.

Ta the owner and his family are so lovely. Their restaurant is the perfect place to sit and have a sunset cold beer!! Ta will pick you up from pier and drop you off. The bungalows are perfect. We swam across the river right in front and it was lovely. Great Indian Nextdoor too!!!

The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable. Ngoc is a wonderful person and does a fabulous job taking care of you while you stay there. She will take care of everything for you, whether that's related to your stay, teaching a cooking class, or booking tuktuks, drivers, tours, or travel. She arranged an afternoon tour of nearby waterfalls and then a visit the next day to Vat Phou with a trip to Wat Phao Salao (climb up the 630 steps) on the way back. The food was delicious and filling. It was so easy to relax here. Highly recommend staying here. It is away from the center, but getting a tuktuk back and forth isn't a problem.

And I don't want to go on about the good food and how excellent Laymon and Alex are, because I should write a book. I should clarify that it's easily accessible by boat, so there's no question of whether staying on a small island is a problem, because it isn't!

What a great place to stay on the magical island of Don Det. The room was great and the bed was comfy. Room also comes with air conditioning if selected. You have a great private balcony that you can watch the sunset from daily. You can rent all of your travel plans and all excursions right from the hotel for a low price. The location is great due to being on the opposite side of the island from the port. You can still get over to all the party bars in just a 5 min walk but you don't have to hear the action from your room. My wife got sick while in Don Det and the staff did everything to make our stay as good as possible including letting us add an extra night last minute for a very fair rate. Top notch place and very relaxing

It had a big deck with chairs and a hammock. The room was big and decorated nicely. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the family that runs it was very friendly.
