We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka with loads of fruit and she prepared a superb rice and curry for dinner. Holiday Beach Guesthouse is 5 minutes walking from the beach, which is great and where there are only few people. The property is tidy and the garden peaceful. Our villa was well maintained and comfortable. We hope to come back!

This place is twice as nice as the Ubay Homestay I stayed at in Trincomalee for which I paid much more - $30 per night. What's better about it, besides the lower price, is: More spacious, more modern room Fewer bugs (really hardly any) Larger, less smelly bathroom Much quieter setting. Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.

Very relaxed atmosphere and a great spot to past time. Outdoor shower was one of the best showers (pressure and shower head) I had on the whole trip.

Arul and his wife are absolutely lovely. Their english is excellent and it facilitates communication. Arul is really keen on sharing local knowledge and culture which was super nice. Room is fine. Location is perfect between the two beaches (I personally prefer Kalkudah) Breakfast and food is delicious. Highly recommend the pancake rolls!

We had been stayed in Coastal villa Kallady for three nights.. owner was so good and kindfull to do our favor. We ate delicious breakfast, lunch and also dinner. We as a enjoyed Peacefull lagoon boat tours.. and precious sunrise and sunsets was best. Beach is also nearby, so happy to review for this homestay.. comfortable room and everything was clean , neat and traditional look.
