I recently stayed at a room I rented for a few nights in Maharagama, Sri Lanka. While the location was outside Colombo, I found it to be incredibly peaceful away from the city hustle. The room itself was clean, simple, and excellent value for the price. What really stood out, though, was the landlord. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, addressing all my queries and offering great tips about the area. I appreciated his hospitality and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay near Colombo.

The hotel has a really great environment and an excellent sense of design. When I checked in, the owner wasn't around, but someone else was arranged to help me with the check-in process, which was quite an interesting experience. The next day, when I left, the owner was very kind. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. However, I only stayed in Colombo for one day. The room gave me a really nice feeling that day.

Lovely guesthouse. The room was new, comfortable, and fresh - made for a good night's sleep with a comfy bed. Homemade breakfast was lovely, and both the hostess and her assistant were really attentive. There's also a shared kitchen and living area for guests, though we didn't use the kitchen ourselves.

The owner is extremely nice! It is like being back at home when mom takes care of you. The room was really nice, air condition as long as I wanted, own bathroom, also very quiet place in Colombo. The breakfast was super big and cold water included. I really recomand this accomodation. It felt like at home. Thank you

This boutique hotel is an absolute gem. It's very comfortable, clean and friendly. The hospitality was so personal, they made us feel so special the whole time we were there. All our requests where met instantly. I also explained that it was my husband's birthday during our stay when we first arrived and they remembered this and provided us with a special breakfast including a birthday cake, which was really lovely. Thank you, especially to Dilshan, who was absolutely wonderful and Kasun for his support and welcome. In fact, the whole team were fantastic. Well done to all team at 55TG Boutique. 😊

Great little place. Funky common area to hang around in with a good little kitchen area.. the room had great AC, was very clean. I loved the bathrobe, very nice touch. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. They had great recommendations for local food places, train station and even dropped me off nearby. Lovely stay

- Very beautiful and calm garden with a lot of trees (nice to hear the birds instead of the cars in the morning) - very friendly and helpful hotel manager - nice breakfast (not included, but worth paying extra) - comfortable beds! Clean rooms. Hot water in the showers. - seating possibilities also outside of the room on the veranda with a view atop of the garden.
