The location was great too. I spent there 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place. Great value for the money!

Breakfast was delicious. They prepared vegan version especially for us. Everyday dishes were different. Perfect location! The owners are really helpful and friendly. It was a real pleasure to spend time with them! We appreciate every moment in Menaka. Bed is comfortable, room is clean and you have a lot of space outside to spend nice evening. You can rent a motorbike or a bicycle in low price. If you ask, Manu can order a tuk tuk in good price too. He helped us with many things! We were really moved and definitely recommend this place.

In my opinion, this is the best place you can stay in Tangalle. It is located a little bit outside the center so calmer but still close enough so that within 5 minutes, you are in town if you wish to. Two of the most beautiful beaches of the area (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) are within walking distance. The place itself is absolutely great. It's a beautiful house with the hosts living on ground floor and the rooms/apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor. They are very spacious and equipped with everything you need, both for a short vacation or for a longer term stay. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses have standard US/European length, so your feet won't stick out. The AC works properly and in addition there is a fan. The WiFi is perfectly stable and fast enough even for video calls. The bathroom is clean and designed in such a way so that you can take a shower without the entire floor being wet for hours. The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming. His English is very good which makes communication easy, and he replies very quickly. They offer food at their place and rent out scooters. Given the price all of this is offered to us as guests, this place definitely deserves a 10 star review. I have already recommended coming here to friends and am certain you will be happy staying here either.

The lady who owns the guest house is one of the most kind and helpful person that we met since arriving in Sri Lanka. The room is very clean and confortable, the guest house very peaceful. Dont hesitate to book, you wont regret it!

Wonderful, very clean accommodation with the most beautiful pool we’ve experienced so far. Very friendly and family-like service, and an incredible variety of exotic wildlife, especially birds. Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. Thanks also for the nice birthday surprise for my daughter! Unforgettable stay!

The room was massive and quiet, exactly what you need to relax.😘 Loved the enjoyed freedom . The staff members are super helpful and polite. The location is perfect, next to the beach and restaurants.

The air conditioning worked well plus a strong ceiling fan. The room was clean as well and the host provided an adapter in the room. He also welcomed us with two fresh coconut waters and on the morning of our safari at 5am he was kind enough to make us coffee. On our last day he gave us fresh watermelon slices before checking out. We were also picked up and dropped off from the bus station by the host. Very helpful and kind. Would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Sun Sea Guest Home. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly. They gave us a run down on Tangalle when we arrived. Telling us about all the beaches, sites and activities. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. And the breakfast that was prepared for us was delicious and generous. Would recommend 100%.

Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari localiza-se em Tissamaharama, a 2,5 km de Tissa Wewa, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. We stayed at Blue Birds Tissa for one night to do the morning safari at Yala National Park. Priya organized our pick-up from Ella and welcomed us with a fresh coconut drink. We also had lunch and dinner at the home stay which were freshly made and really delicious. The room was clean and providing everything you need. The location is close to a lake where Priya took us on a free bird’s safari in the afternoon. He also organized the safari to Yala NP and the transport to our next location. Priya and his family are going above and beyond to give their guests the best stay possible to a reasonable price. Thanks again for our great stay!
