The staff is really nice and the island is beautiful. They say you should not expect a hotel stay which makes sense, but we thought it was so much more than that because it just feels like paradise. You have hammocks all around the property and areas to just sit and chill. You can rent bikes for the island and explore the nature and wildlife.

The owner is one of the nicest bloke going So easy-going and welcoming. It was a genuine home from home stay If I ever were to come back to Jaffna, I would not have hesitation in staying here. He has taken some very simple and effective measures to keep the mossies out. Breakfast was excellent He has only 2 rooms I would STRONGLY ADVISE that you book this well in advance. I am 100% confident that people will not be disappointed unless you are the type of person who prefers a really high-end 5-star luxurious stay. In which case you pay the price accordingly. The villa itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and green setting just a few minutes by tuk-tuk from the city center, a perfect balance of quiet and convenience. The facilities are excellent, but what really stands out is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They even offered free rides to local sights, which was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaffna!

Jaffna turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip — such a hidden gem! Highly recommended!
