The place was exactly what we were looking for: a peaceful spot, surrounded by nature, frequented and run by TOP people! Our tent was perfect – two fans for the night, mosquito nets, and a beautiful outdoor area with personal chairs and table. Bathrooms were good, and the shared spaces were very well designed. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Tommy, the host, is exceptional – we felt totally at ease with him and his whole team, who were incredibly attentive with our 7-year-old rascal :) Since we come to Sri Lanka almost every year, we’ll definitely be coming back to Delft Village Stay!

He is an absolutely perfect and attentive host and it seems he is able to read the guests wishes and needs from their eyes. Thank you Allen for making our stay in Jaffna and surrounding areas unforgettable! We can highly recommend his guesthouse and hope to return sometime.

Absolutely lovely stay at Munril Guest! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with both air conditioning and a fan. The villa itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and green setting just a few minutes by tuk-tuk from the city center, a perfect balance of quiet and convenience. The facilities are excellent, but what really stands out is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They even offered free rides to local sights, which was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaffna!

One of the cleanest and most comfortable places we stayed during our travels around Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious with comfortable bed. Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also appreciated having access to the kitchen fridge and the reliable Wi-Fi. Jaffna turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip — such a hidden gem! Highly recommended!

Very attentive and friendly staff who went out of their way to help us with all our requests. Big big shout out to you guys! Thank You very much for the lovely hospitality and you will see us again!

Very homely, room was large and clean with good airconditioning. The host was super nice, helpful and friendly, always around to offer help. His wife makes the most delicious home made Jaffna food, try the mutton and crab curry. The place is on a very quiet street, however, it was easy to get a tuk tuk in and out of town or to any place of interest.

Raj’s place is an excellent base for a few days in Jaffna. Raj is an outstanding host—very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The rooms are simple, clean, and have great air conditioning. They also include a hot shower with excellent water pressure. The location is a five-minute walk to a few local restaurants or about a 25-minute walk (or a short drive) to Jaffna town. The place is a lovely, relaxing, and peaceful spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is available for an additional 900 LKR per person. The breakfast is excellent—a very generous spread of authentic cuisine that changes daily. We thoroughly enjoyed Raj’s hospitality and would definitely return if we’re in Jaffna again.
