I had the absolute best time in Hiriketiya thanks to Charitha and his family! I was supposed to stay for 5 days, but I ended up extending to 3 weeks — and honestly, I would’ve stayed even longer if I could have. Charitha goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy. He often organizes meals, snacks, and drinks (his wife is an amazing cook!). He’s super responsive on WhatsApp if you have any questions or concerns, and he’s always genuinely happy to help. He is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and a true example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The facilities themselves were excellent — I have no complaints at all. The location is also perfect: surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and boutiques, and just a couple of minutes from the beach. I would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay with them!

Devon Surf. The accomodation and hospitality were absolutely brilliant - originally booked for 2 nights and extended for another. The room was very spacious, AC and a fan. The host invited me for breakfast the first morning and helped with anything I needed organising including washing and getting me a tuk tuk. The family is really so nice. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the lovely beach - surfed loads and was provided a beach towel when I asked!

We had a private room and it was modern, bright and spacious. Breakfast was great, super friendly staff, easy location to walk to the beach but on a quiet street that feels very safe.

Super simpáticos e prestáveis. Vista incrível e quarto muito confortável e limpo. Pequeno-Almoço muito bom servido com imenso carinho. O lugar de garagem foi ótimo para o nosso tuktuk!

I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

The location is absolutely beautiful and the décor is charming and welcoming. The area is so peaceful, it made for a perfectly relaxing getaway. The food was delicious, with amazing brunch options and coffee that was simply outstanding. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm and cozy retreat.

Em Weligama, a 16 minutos a pé de Praia Abimanagama, Freedom192 tem um jardim, um salão partilhado e um terraço. Location is nice, close to the beach and away from the busy road. The room was good size and comfortable, A/C and internet worked well, the host was friendly and attentive. There is a kitchen and a beautiful garden where you can enjoy the coffee and spot peacocks and other birds. The bathroom has a bath tub which was nice.

Parasol dore encontra-se em Dikwella, a alguns passos de Batheegama Beach, e apresenta acomodações com uma piscina exterior, estacionamento privado gratuito, um jardim e uma área de praia privada. Parasol Dole is a little slice of heaven. We had the ultimate relaxation time where we were able to switch off from everything. The accommodation is beautiful. We loved the room, which had bi-folding doors directly out to the pool area and beach. The pool was clean and refreshing. We spent the majority of our time on the beach, which felt private as we were usually the only ones on it. There are body boards to use at your leisure and we had so much fun body boarding in the waves for hours on end. There is an area further up the beach that frequently has turtles, so we had the opportunity to snorkel and saw several turtles close to shore. The staff were so generous and hospitable. They kindly organised us tuk tuks into town whenever we needed, which always arrived within 10 minutes of booking. Roshan particularly went out of his way to recommend things to do in the area and offered to drive us round the town for some sightseeing. We couldn’t fault the service. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The pancakes, omelettes and fruit platter were exceptionally good! Highly recommend this serene and stunning boutique hotel and we will definitely return on our next visit to Sri Linka!
