We were warmly welcomed from the very first moment and really have nothing bad to say. The location is perfect, and in terms of value for money, there’s really no reason to complain. Super friendly host who even treated us to a real Sri Lankan breakfast. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in this brand new guesthouse! The family opened it in December and they are constantly working on improving what they offer. The location is perfect, in the middle between Hiriketiya and Dickwella beach: walking distance from many bars and restaurants, supermarket, shops, street food and the two beaches of course, still in a quiet street surrounded by greeneries. Our bedroom had a large window (which is super rare in Sri Lanka and especially in home stays / guesthouses) on a small balcony, a big (and silent!) fan that for us was more than enough (they also have AC) and an extra big and comfy bed. The wifi was working perfectly (also a rarity!) And special mention to the breakfast: so big and delicious with typical sri lankan food prepared fresh every morning.

It’s a lovely hotel and nice comfortable bed and good showers. Close to the beach. The staff were really nice and helpful. And food were good also!

This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

Surf Lodge Madiha có khu vườn, khu vực bãi biển riêng, sân hiên và nhà hàng ở Matara. Our stay at the lodge was wonderful! The location is absolutely beautiful and the décor is charming and welcoming. The area is so peaceful, it made for a perfectly relaxing getaway. The food was delicious, with amazing brunch options and coffee that was simply outstanding. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm and cozy retreat.

The place has an amazing location. It is just near the turtle point and very accesible to Dikwella beach which is really huge and calm beautiful beach. For people who don’t like the crowd of Hiriketiya i think this place is a gem. The family is sweet and the rooms were really comfortable and clean.

We stayed in the small room attached to the main house; it was perfect for us! The bathroom was sooo beautiful haha it was like an outdoor shower surrounded by rocks (pictures on the listing don’t do it justice!!). The bed was super comfy and the AC worked great! It was so nice to come back to the cool space after a day in the heat. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed or else the mosquitoes will find their way in! The kitchen we were able to use was great and had everything we needed. Lovely family running the place as well. Location was also really nice, jungle beach is close and there’s a nice restaurant next door. Would definitely recommend!!
