A very beautiful place — the room was clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed. There was a lovely garden all around, a natural water reservoir nearby, and a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and served in the restaurant in a charming setting. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful; he welcomed us with coffee upon arrival and showed us all the local attractions. I highly recommend this place!

We spent two nights in this homestay, and it was the first time since our trip to Sri Lanka that we had a real homestay experience, spending time with this lovely family and chatting. The hosts are very attentive; they gave us fruit and juice to taste. The dinner she prepared was absolutely delicious and very generous. The house is huge and very beautiful, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the balcony is very pleasant. We felt really good in this place. We highly recommend spending a few nights here. If you have your own transportation or are willing to pay for a driver/guide, the experience will be even better as you will be able to visit the surrounding area. However, we were not in this situation but we traveled by local bus and were able to arrive from the coast and leave for Ella. We were also able to go to the beautiful Diyaluma waterfall by taking the bus to Haputale for a day trip.

Truly such a unique experience. Bethiya was such a wonderful host. He was so enthusiastic during our safari tour, we had so much fun. The beds were comfortable and had bug nets. Sleeping in the woods was so relaxing, we could hear the leaves of the trees rustling in the night. The food was INCREDIBLE. Such a great price. I recommend this place to everyone.
