Guest accommodation upstairs and private, my sister and I had two very good rooms facing onto the garden. Close enough to ride bikes ( provided) to the Ancient City. Credit cards accepted.

They invited us into their home and treated us like part of their family. They invited us to celebrated the new year with them. It was an amazing experience and Aruna and his wife and daughters are truly amazing hosts. The room was clean and comfortable - no complaints there - as advertised. We were able to also rent a scooter from Aruna to go exploring more the ancient city which was very helpful. All in all we had a fabulous time - only sad that we could not stay longer.

Kody is also a tour guide and can give advice where to go in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is spacious and clean.

The guesthouse is close to the main sites. Ravi makes delicious breakfast with lots of fresh fruits. He even made us a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early for elephant safari. Ravi organized bikes for us to use to see the ruins. He also set up an elephant safari with an excellent guide, Shiron. He was knowledgeable and showed us some incredible birds. He had a knack for getting us in the right spots for elephant viewing and was respectful to give the elephants space. Highly recommend a trip with him. We also recommend the morning trip as he said in the afternoons sometimes there are 200 jeeps!
