My family and I had a wonderful experience at Kirinda Paradise Yala. The room was clean, spacious, and had access to a large common terrace. The property is in a very quiet area, with a well-maintained yard and a swimming pool—perfect for hot days. Be sure to try host's seafood platter, but come with an empty stomach :) Shaluka and his wife are incredibly hospitable, and our daughter had a fantastic time playing with their sons. Shaluka’s place is ideal for those planning to visit Yala National Park, as it is only 20 minutes from the park entrance. We would love to stay here again!

Lovely hosts, we booked the breakfast and dinner option. The breakfast was huge, and the dinner menu had many options to choose from. It was great to come back from the safari and not have to worry about going out somewhere for dinner. I read on a post recently that someone said they had no hot water. Our bathroom had two shower heads, one was just a cold shower, the other hand held shower was connected to what looked like an instantaneous hot water system and we had as much hot water as we needed. We also booked an all day safari through the accommodation, which I would rate 10 out of 10. The vehicle was comfortable, the driver/guide spotted so many animals for us, he didn't rush around like some vehicles around us, our driver even assisted another bogged vehicle while the other vehicles around us just drove past the bogged vehicle. Seeing some of the safari Jeeps that day, some were clearly unroadworthy and with cracked windows that would have limited their clients ability to see well. If you are considering a safari I would highly recommend using a reliable service with a great reputation like this one as I would definitely not have wanted to be in some of those vehicles. PS we didn't get to see a lepord, but we did see a Sloth Bear which apparently are unusual to see at Yala normally.

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence situa-se em Kataragama, a 21 km de Situlpawwa e a 22 km de Tissa Wewa. The property was well maintained and managed well from all aspects. The staff was very helpful especially mr. Inbarajah. They also helped us cook our own vegetarian food at a separate place near dining area.

After some time travelling I feel safe to say that you can tell the difference between people just making money of you and people who really know what they are doing and want the best for you. And Priya only wants the best for you and he will go out of his way to give you anything you want. From picking us up at the bus stop for free, coming to get us when it started raining and we were in the city, taking us to a beautiful little safari around the lake at sunset showing us lots of birds, crocodiles and bats, recommending us which buses to take from and to other destinations, to organizing the best safari we could hope for. He recommended us to do a full day in block 1 and we are really happy we took his advice. Priya works with very experienced guides and we had an amazing safari and even though it was peak season we managed to be most of the day alone and witness the park for what it is with its beauty and variety of animals. The accomodation itself is quite simple but it was more than enough for us. Nice clean room, good wifi, good AC, good food, comfortable bed. Absolutely recommend!

A cerca de 3,7 km de Tissa Wewa e a 29 km de Parque Santuário de Pássaros Bundala, Kethaka Aga apresenta quartos em Tissamaharama. Wonderful, quiet, cozy apartament surrounded by rice fiedle. It is small familliar hotel with large rooms. Swimming pool is big, and clean, and next to room. Very tasty breakfast. During the whole stay our hoste prepared the best tea witht milk for our children. Wery nice atmosphere.

The location is very peculiar and the hosts are amazing. In particular, the wife is so sweet and a talent in cooking: amazing food, even the white rice was different than others! The story behind this business is incredibly touching.

The place is very clean. We loved the location and authentic vibe. We booked a Safari with the owner and it was a fantastic experience. Our 2 little boys also enjoyed the stay. Owners are very friendly. They even send us our forgotten belongings to our next stay in Ella. That was amazing!!! Thanks Karin and Shantha.

V Cabanas Yala Safari Place localiza-se em Tissamaharama, a 2,6 km de Tissa Wewa, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um terraço e um restaurante. The place is beautifully located in a rice paddy. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were kind, helpful and lovely (x10). We found the home cooked meals (breakfast and dinner) better than what the restaurants in town could offer. We booked our Yala safari through them and everything went smoothly. I can not speak highly enough of the place and the owners.
