I'm here off season so it's not busy but amazing. the location is perfect as well.

You cannot find a better stay in Mérida! On our first trip, we stayed at a place for twice the price with half the comfort. We were elated to find Casa Equinox far exceeded expectations! Our room had icy cold AC, perfectly clean bedding and bathroom, a lovely rain shower, and the comfiest bed we slept in during our whole Mexico trip. They also stocked the room with thoughtful touches like toiletries, blow dryer, iron, extra blankets, and even a Nespresso machine with pods! The balcony was a perfect place to drink our morning coffee and enjoy the fresh air before it got too hot out. The quiet neighborhood was the cherry on top. I cannot say enough good things, and we will DEFINITELY rebook if/when we are back in Mérida!

The host is very friendly and helps with important information and contacts.

It is a separate suite in the yard of the local house, so you have all the possible privacy and a great opportunity to immerse into culture and chat with the family if you speak Spanish. Unfortunately, I don't and had to use Google Translate :) Even with this the couple that owns the place were doing their best to accommodate my curiosity and attempts to communicate. We were welcomed with some iced lemonade and in hot humid weather it was like a blessing! Breakfast was veeeery delicious and had traditional cuisine notes. The hosts are charming family, very friendly and caring. Muchos gracias! 10 of 10 ♥️

My first room had an issue with hot water so they upgraded me to a small apartment across the street. Spacious, clean, and comfortable.
