Mama Yati and Papa were so kind and welcoming—it really felt like home. The lodge is cozy and peaceful, perfect whether you're coming as a family, a couple, or solo. I met some lovely fellow travellers during my time there too. They’re building new cottages that look beautiful—I’d definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Kawah Padi Villa is really a magical place, in the middle of the rice fields and surrounded by beautiful nature! The people working there are amazing, so kind and caring. We had an amazing 3 nights there - the rooms were comfortable and spacious, the terrace area super cosy and the team made a great breakfast in the morning for us to enjoy. Highly recommend for a cosy and relaxing stay

This was an exceptional place to stay. The tree villas are amazing, so well done and all built by the owner. It’s tranquil and yet you can easily access places. The beach is very close for perfect sunset and the owners cannot do enough to help you. They brought fruit and calamari such nice touches that show their kindness for guests. There’s a beautiful little pool, I had to myself most of the time. You can rent scooters from them and they are always on hand to answer questions. They even went to get the mum’s kitchen scales to weigh my case for me before I left. This is an exceptional place with exceptional people. The fact they have built this themselves and made it so lovely makes it extra special. 100 percent I would recommend staying here. It was perfect in every way.

We recently booked a 1 night staycation at bloc.guesthouse and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth, The room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. We especially loved the cozy bed and the view from the patio. we enjoyed One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast. In the morning we were treated to a delicious nasi lemak with kueh plus the great coffee. It was the perfect way to start our day. It truly felt like a mini-vacation without the stress of travel. If you looking for quiet,privacy place to stay? This is the place. The place was newly open (just one month) and of course there is maintenance but we don’t mind about that. Work on going on the garden area. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The place was very clean, which is the most important thing. Owner was super patience and friendly, even reminded me of my forgotten stuff. You can find lots of convenience stores, cafe/restaurants nearby. Price was very affordable as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a place to stay around Kulim.
