The host was super friendly and he treated us to amazing local food in the morning (roti canai, and some other pastries). I accidentally left my jacket at the hotel, and he drove all the way to the airport to return it to me. He was so kind.

We had familiarized ourselves with the destination before the trip and understood that it was a special place. However, we could not have guessed just how wonderfully unique it would be. The warmth, service, humor, and the overall experience were incredible. This was also reflected in the guests. We had never experienced such a sense of community before. We pondered for a long time about what might be the reason for this, and eventually, we figured it out. It all stems from the hospitality, kindness, and helpfulness of Mama Yati and Papa Mas. They create a magical atmosphere that resonates not only with the guests but also with the entire staff. Thank you for allowing us to experience something so special on our first trip to Asia/Langkawi. Hopefully we can someday come back. Miika and Hanna

Great place to stay in Langkawi - Dee is a great host, very happy to see everyone and give tips on the area and beyond. The room was very comfortable, and it’s in a very quiet residential area, with a beautiful walk through the village to get to the beach. Close to the quiet beach, great for sunset - walking distance to food and other amenities as well. Would stay again!

The host was lovely and incredibly helpful. The accommodation is unique and quirky which we loved and the swimming pool warm and welcoming. The setting was on the edge of a paddy field and had lovely sunset but my favourite part was the cats around the accommodation

Mun and Afeq were very kind and helpful, as well as generous. They helped us in every way they could, even with our onward travel when it was time for us to leave. We hired a motorbike from them which was a great way to get around the island. Kawah Villa is a wonderful and relaxed place and we will certainly be back!

The standout feature of this property was undoubtedly the exceptional hospitality of the owners. Their kindness and helpfulness were remarkable, exceeding all expectations. We were warmly welcomed and consistently treated to thoughtful gestures, such as refreshing watermelon and juice by the pool, and delicious Malaysian treats. They even generously allowed our daughter to play with their daughter, sharing bikes and creating a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the pool was immaculate and well-maintained.

We recently booked a 1 night staycation at bloc.guesthouse and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth, The room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. We especially loved the cozy bed and the view from the patio. we enjoyed One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast. In the morning we were treated to a delicious nasi lemak with kueh plus the great coffee. It was the perfect way to start our day. It truly felt like a mini-vacation without the stress of travel. If you looking for quiet,privacy place to stay? This is the place. The place was newly open (just one month) and of course there is maintenance but we don’t mind about that. Work on going on the garden area. We’ll definitely be coming back!
