The guesthouse has a big lovely common space where I had some meaningful encounters with people from around the world. Signe’s paintings and arts make this place even more magical and inspiring.

My husband and I had incredible days in Tromso. The accommodation was great and had everything we needed, including kitchen utensils, so we could cook several times, along with a super comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. The host was very welcoming; he gave us various tips on tours and transportation in the city, answered all our questions, and most importantly, fulfilled my dream of seeing the Northern Lights. I had already tried to see the Northern Lights in several other countries without success, but he is a great professional and took us to a place away from the city lights, dark enough for us to have an incredible night with the Northern Lights; he also took amazing photos. I will cherish forever in my memory these incredible days I had in Tromso and at the accommodation. I highly recommend it and will definitely return one day.

The room was clean and quiet. Common area facilities were basic but functional. The recommended tours exceeded my expectations: the fjord and northern lights in Tromso winter were fantastic; the prepared tea and coffee were suitable for outdoor activities. If I came in the summer, I would choose the same place to stay.

This was a really enjoyable stay just outside Tromso - close to the airport and the by bus or car, with a beautiful view of the city, the mountains, and the fjord. The host is so welcoming and knowledgeable about the best sightseeing and recreational activities in the region. He also offers tours that are very fairly priced and excellent experience. I did the aurora tour and he made sure we went on the night with the best chance of seeing the lights - he tracks the weather and the aurora forecast and knows the best spots to go for viewing. Highly recommend this stay - everything is as advertised and very enjoyable!

A large terrace to relax on after the trip.

Leif is such a friendly host, he even baked us a loaf of bread during our arrival! Combined with the beautiful cabin and the views, it completes our stay! We even managed to capture the aurora on our 1st night staying there! Really recommended to stay here!
