We enjoyed staying at their homestay and we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and quite, bed comfy and the bathroom clean. I think I had the best night's sleep here in many months of travelling. It is a little outside the city centre, but we didn't mind walking through the nice neighbourhood everyday at all. We would definitely stay here again! P.s. check out the rooftop, there's an amazing view over the city.

Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. This homestay is located a few meters away from Durbar Square, and you get a great view of it from the rooftop. It's not a hotel; there are people actually living in the other rooms. The host, Navin, is a very nice guy who really loves what he does, and he will introduce you to his family. If you want, his mom can prepare you traditional Newari meals, and he can also be your personal tour guide, taking you to know the city and the vicinities; he showed me places I would have totally missed if I were on my own. During my stay, I was basically his buddy, met his friends, etc. Overall, the only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer; Navin is the best host ever and he made my time in Bhaktapur so interesting and meaningful.

The family was very welcoming, easy to talk to and open. The location was exactly what I needed, a nice break from the bustling city and pollution. Trees and plants all around. And a beautiful sunset right from the terrace. Good food. Easy to get to Nagarkot with the local bus.

Sajan is a great host and he takes care of the everything a guest needs. The location is very central and easily reachable. There is nice view of the stupa from the terrace. The room is kept clean by the housekeeping staff. The prices are definitely unmatchable. Great value for money.

For me the best part were Sugat and Roshani, whose Homestay it is. Every morning at breakfast I would speak to one or both of them which made me feel welcome and at ease. It also made it very easy for me to ask any questions I had about for example where to go for a specific bus or place to visit, or even having Sugat help me book the bus to Pokhara. While I was gone for a few days, I could leave my bigger bag at their place. They were a fantastic support! 🙏
