I have been fortunate to travel to many places over the years and this is one of the most genuine experiences I have had. It is based in a local area, a lot more calm than busy Thamel and gives you more insight into how local people in Kathmandu live. You can walk into Thamel or can get a taxi/bike easily with the inDrive app. The rooms are comfortable, there is very good wifi and there is an incredible view from the rooftop. Nir and his family will really look after you, but at the same time give you as much space as you need to do your own thing. They will make it feel like your home where you can relax and whatever you do, try their meals in their kitchen…..you will not regret it! I thoroughly recommend a stay at peace homestay.

I loved absolutely everything about my stay! After the hustle and bustle of the main locations in Nepal, coming to Namaste Homestay made my heart sing. the view from the room was amazing and the fresh mountain air just made so happy! Every morning i would wake up super early and look at the scenery changing from dawn to day, it was like experiencing heaven! there is a little garden where you can sit, eat, read a book and sip a cup of tea. They grow their own vegetables and herbs and it feels so good to sit in peace there. The owners are amazing good people, and when i couldn’t find a ride to go back towards Kathmandu, they gave me a moto ride to the closest town. They have a lovely family and there are always kids around that will definitely steal you a smile or a laugh or a little play! The wifi works very well. Namobuddha is reachable by an easy walk and everyone is lovely around the village. What a gem! Definitely recommended Thank you again, so much love, i will come back!

Nirvana Kuti se află în Kathmandu și oferă cazare de, cu balcon privat. Proprietatea se găsește la 2,5 km de Swayambhu, la 3,5 km de Templul Swayambhunath și la 5 km de Piaţa Patan Durbar. I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

By far the highlight of my travels, to say the host, Navin, goes above and beyond for his guests is an understatement. Great for solo travellers, we visited during Nepali new year and Navin showed all the guests around the city, brought us to his family feasts and was above all else great company to be around, you have to stay here when visiting Bhaktapur!

I saw the sunrise just from my room and the balcony! Friendly family and host! They cooked delicious local food! I felt like home with warm welcome from them and can feel the hospitality from them.

Cool person in charge always in answering my query without miss. 24 hours hot shower, clean bed, and necessary amenities are just around the corner. New paint and decorations making the space more warm and uplifting. Still the best in its class in Swayambu.
