Staying at this guesthouse was an absolute delight from start to finish. The owner and the staff were some of the warmest and kindest people I've ever met, so welcoming, genuinely friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The owner even gifted each of us beautiful bukhoor before we left and waved us goodbye until we were out of sight. It felt like leaving family. They went out of their way to help us find an adapter we needed, and little touches like complimentary coffee and dates always available at the reception made us feel incredibly at home. The terrace offers a stunning view which is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or for enjoying sunrise. The guesthouse itself is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated in traditional Omani style, and has everything you could possibly need. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of old Nizwa. You can easily walk to the souq, the fort, and all the main attractions. It’s also just a short stroll from where the Mwasalat Muscat–Nizwa buses drop you off. This was truly one of the most memorable stays of my life. The hospitality, the atmosphere, the comfort...everything was perfect. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Nizwa. Highly, highly recommended!

Everything was absolutely amazing. Adnan was the best host who is so knowledgeable about the history of Nizwa. He also gave great recommendations for us on what we should do as well as best places to eat. The location is perfect, we walked to wherever we wanted to go. When I come back to Nizwa, this is the only place I will stay!

This is a really nice family run hotel. We loved our stay here. It’s very well located to visit many beautiful places & there is a fantastic view all around from the roof top terraces. Our room was clean & comfortable & everything worked well. The staff are helpful & friendly & we really enjoyed the Omani breakfasts. The highlight was meeting the family who were so kind & hospitable. I can highly recommend staying here & will come back on our next visit. Thank you.

I had a great stay at Basmat almisfah. The owners are two brothers and their sister is the chef who cooks breakfast and dinner. I loved supporting locals who have been in the town for generations. The room itself was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast and dinner (included in the price) was filling and tasty. The view from the terrace is just spectacular. I decided to do a tour with one of the owners, Ali, who is just amazing. He walked me through the town first and then showed me his family garden, as it was an agriculture tour. I learned so much about the town's history and the family. Highly recommend staying here. Location is also perfect, as it's right be the public parking spots.

Located in the village of Misfat Al- Abriyeen in the state of Al-Hamra, Al Misfah Hospitality Inn is about 200 kilometers away from Muscat. Amazing Omani hospitality, I can only recommend it!
