Although he lives on-site, he is usually busy with house chores, or on adventures of his own, so he's not there much. During my visit, the house was full of life and had a fairly steady pace of changing travelers every couple days. It was about 8-10 mins from beach and comes equipped with a very sweet house cat. Everything was super clean, and cooking utensils were aplenty. No dishwasher, so be prepared to tidy up after yourself. It is quite a remote location, and requires some effort to get to anything except the little gas station nearby, which was quite handy in a pinch with basic groceries. Also, TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLANT. Apresentando um terraço e vistas da piscina, FARE TEMANEA localiza-se em Papetoai, a 14 minutos a pé de Praia de Papetoai. The bungalow is so cute and it’s on a nice property with a pool. The owners really helped me out a lot and were so kind. There are also kayaks to use but I didn’t have time to do that.

This was a last minute booking just for overnight as we were on a long cruise fortunately with an overnight stay in Papeete. This was just what we needed to be relaxing around their beautiful pool, enjoying the sea breeze! The set up is superb with our room seperate to the kitchen & laundry along side the pool with an outdoor lounge area. Tropical breakfast was included. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful beyond belief. Only a 10 minute walk to Moz's Pizza restaurant which was a real fun place to be with delicious food. We plan to return to Villa Sunrise for longer in the future. Bless our hosts.

There are four separate bungalows on site. We had three couples staying for several days so it was nice to each have our own space, but to spend time together on an ocean front porch.

We loved Moorea, had we known, we would have stayed a week instead of just 4 days. The staff and service at Linareva is exceptional. There is a beautiful tranquil family run atmosphere. These cottages are perfectly equipped (even milk frother with coffee machine). We loved kayaking (provided) and snorkeling (there is some older gear, better bring your own) on the coral around the blue hole. It was sometimes so wind still that the surface of the sea looked like a lake. You can catch lovely sunsets from the pier. We would absolutely stay there again. Note: you will need a car, to get there, for grocery shopping but also to get to all the great spots on Moorea: drift snorkel, boat rental (cheap at Hotel Les Tipaniers), restaurants … We rented at Avis.com collecting the car at the ferry terminal, returning at the airport, and it was super easy and quick.

The location was amazing. Whike snorkling from the property, I saw turtles, a leopard ray, and a few sharks (they are not dangerous). They lent me snorkling gear for free. Easy to access. Markets and restaurants close by and Elodie and Renaud gave me great information on good places to eat at and to see on the island. It's right next to the best public beach on the island in my opinion. Sunset was right over the tip of the island making for great fading light. The family was super nice, starting with Renaud and Elodie. They made my stay a breeze. I would recommend it to anyone.
