Emmanuelle, the host, is just the best. Right from before I arrived, she advised on getting to the place, the practicalities, the expectations. Then, she arranged for me to be met, taken to the quay, & met me at the other side to take me to the beautiful house, showing me, on the way, the way points to navigate to it. And what a beautiful house! Next to the lagoon, with wide verandahs to relax on. All the facilities you need. Kayaks, bicycles, snorkels, etc, all available for your use, freely. Lovely breakfasts arrive each morning. And dinner, by arrangement, should you wish. The house is airy & light, spacious & bright. I said it was my favourite place I'd stayed at on my extensive travels - & I meant it. I recommend Le Fare Bleu without hesitation.

The hosts, Vaitia and Yvhan, were warm, helpful and supportive. They organised the transfers to Tiputa, and picked me up after the taxi boat ride. I was given a tour of the village, shown the location of the supermarkets and routes to use when hiring the bikes. This all really helped to provide a relaxed and enjoyable stay on a more remote, holiday destination. They also were well connected to the tourist sector on Rangiroa. Vaimoe Lodge Tiputa faces out to the sea, and has a lovely terrace where you can relax, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the view of the waves breaking on the reef. It’s located away from any tourist hubs, and its set up is simple, clean, spacious and comfortable. I had the meals prepared by the hosts, which were delicious. The bike hire was very handy and fun. There is a lovely sense of community on Tiputa, and the people were friendly, kind and patient.

We spent some time at tiputa lodge, which is a perfect place to relax and be away from the crowds. The quite new house is divided into the part where Henry lives and the flat, which he rents out, so one is the only guest. The apartment is beautifully furnished and is designed to perfection. We found ourselves mostly sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the lagoon. It is a nice place to snorkel and swim and I also went out on the Kajak provided. There are also deckchairs at the water. You have two bikes to explore the islands.The internet is superfast and reliant. Henry makes a great breakfast, we loved all the coconut breads, cakes and the best sweet coconut water. Also he makes very nice joghurt. At night he would pick up something from the snack for us or drive us to a small restaurant and come to pick us up to bring us back. (He did not advice to bike at night because of the dogs). We had a lovely time at Henry, we shared his passion for diving and we can recommend Tiputa lodge 100%

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at POE Guesthouse in Rangiroa! 🌴 Both Poe & Hinano were incredibly kind and welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience on the island. We even got to enjoy a beautiful Tahitian dance performance, which made our stay feel extra special and authentic. 🌺💃🏽 What impressed us most was the care and effort in helping us organize our trip — the host managed to get us on the Blue Lagoon tour at the very last moment, just the night before! This made our visit unforgettable, and we are so thankful for the support and warm hospitality. The atmosphere of the guesthouse is relaxed, friendly, and truly feels like home. We left not only happy but also full of great memories. 💙 Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rangiroa — POE Guesthouse is the perfect place to experience both comfort and the warm spirit of Polynesia! Rangiroa Bliss is as off-the-grid as you can get. "High-style" local Polynesian bungalows. Rainwater for the showers and toilets, bring your own drinking water, and solar electric (that worked most of the time). Fans and sea breezes, no A/C. No WiFi, "two-bar" cellular. Good for email, marginal for the internet. There is a "road" to "town" but it doesn't connect to the road from the airport. On a busy day, maybe six cars went by. You want to escape traffic, this is the place. Boats are how you get around. Snorkeling and kayaking right off the beach of our bungalow. Excursions to places around the atol come right to your deck to pick you up. There are some cool adventures, do them. Ilona, the host, is an excellent cook. Polynesian comfort food. Take the meal plan. Bring your own alcohol and snacks for lunch. Easy to get a taxi to the local grocery store from the airport when you arrive, if you ask. Then, taxi will take you to the boat that shuttles you to the place. Our cup of tea, we loved it. Your mileage may differ.
