This was especially so as Air Tahiti decided to go on strike and Tahia was happy to run us back and forth to the airport to rearrange our flights. Do not even consider staying anywhere else near the airport.

Sheltered areas available as an outdoor dinning area and a cute area open space with garden sitters, a terrace and a pool. So close to the airport and well located in papeete. Prices advantageous. Everything I needed was there. The 4km walk to town was a great way to stretch legs after a long flight. Tetumanaiva couldn’t have been more helpful.

Tamanu Lodge is a great property located very close to the airport! It is also close to a shopping mall and restaurants. The room was very clean, big and had all necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The owner Vanina is an amazing person with a very generous and kind heart. She will make you feel at home and comfortable, make sure to chat with her! I’ll definitely be back on my next Tahiti trip!

The hostess is a truly lovely person. This is a 3 generation family home and I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It’s not a 5-star hotel, it’s better in my opinion—a genuinely loving family home. The hostess sang for me a beautiful welcoming song about coconuts! That is special.

This is a super clean unit located within a short walk of a quiet beach and a couple outstanding small restaurants. The hosts are wonderful and helpful. We had the best ever ribs and restful nights 18 minutes away from busy Papeete.

Ingrid was amazing - our flight into Tahiti was delayed by 3 hours and she was attentive to the schedule to be able to come and pick us up that night, and then took us back in the middle of the night to have enough time to check in for our flight out at 3 am. The room was very homey and clean, and the perfect place to stop! Ingrid also gave us some local food recommendations and had tea, coffee, cold water, and fresh fruit stocked for us in the room, which was great after a long day of travel.

Outstanding location on the west coast , 10 minutes from airport, with a beautiful view of the bay , since halfway up on the hills. Far from traffic jams and shops. Exceptional friendliness and support from the owner. Clean, tranquil and a very nice swimming pool . Highly Recommended
