John the owner he’s not doing that “host” act. He’s just a solid guy who actually shows up for his guests. No delays, no excuses, no attitude. You need something? It’s done. You’ve got questions? He answers them before you even ask. No ego, no weird vibe just pure respect and presence. It’s rare as hell. Even the scooter rental is on point brand new, rides clean, price is fair. Not one of those beat-up bikes everyone else tries to pass off as “ok.” This isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s run properly. It feels good. You can tell someone gives a shit about the details and that alone makes it better than half the so-called “top-rated” places out there. Stay here. That’s it.

Elvira and Josepth were very welcoming and accommodating. The room was exquisite, clean, comfortable and just steps away from the shared pool and beach. I enjoyed the Filipino-inspired decor, outdoor rain shower, welcome smoothie, and fresh local fruit provided. Wish I could have stayed longer and will have to bring my husband back with me for another stay.

This place is perfection. Close to bustle of GL for when you want to experience that, but removed enough to feel peaceful. The staff are amazing; Em was full of tips and suggestions. She was always quick to respond and helpful with anything you might need in Siargao. This was my second trip to Siargao and this spot really exceeded expectations and remains the best place I've stayed at in Siargao. The multiple backup options are also SUPER convenient. I was on a Zoom call with my boss, and the power went out, and it was not noticeable. The wifi still worked, a backup light came on, and the rechargeable fans kept me cool. They are really prepared for everything. The property is exceptionally clean as well. Highly highly recommend.

You get everything you need for a perfect getaway! Amazing view!!!! The room was very nice with beautiful balcony. The food was so good and unique! And the staff, they were so kind and welcoming. We really recommend this place! And for yourself, do more than one night!!!

Mark and his sister were so welcoming and kind to us. We spent 16 nights at TL Shaw and the facilities were very good. The bathroom was good - we had an enclosed shower with hot water. This is not always a given in the Philippines. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a huge super king size bed, lamps and concealed lighting and a hanging rail for clothes - also not a given in the Philippines - as well as a cupboard for storage. The room had a lovely balcony and drying rail for clothes and swimwear. The family were kind enough to share a meal with us and Mark and his sister organised airport transfers for us and gave me a parting gift when we left. If we return to Siargao, we will definitely stay there again.

Everything, the room was incredibly comfortable and the shared bathroom was algo fantastic! In our 4 days we have never wait for it, and it also was very big. We could use a fridge to keep our food fresh and the location was in the middle of General luna! The highlight of the hotel was the staff working there, Arlene was so king and helped us with absolutely EVERYTHING, including moto-rental. It was a great experience!
