Owners are super nice, we’ve been treated like an old friends. They were very helpful, making sure all our needs were addressed. Also we really appreciate that hotel are 10 minutes away from Main Street, it gave us so much peace. We drove a scooter during our stay, but it’s just few minutes walk from all activities. Hotel rooms is very basic, but super clean and cozy. And highlight of our stay - Bruno, owner’s dog, he is super friendly. I will miss this furry little guy 🥹

Arrival and departure from/to Cebu. Lisa (PoC) organised the transport on request. A scooter was available at the accommodation on prior request. Our room was clean. The accommodation is a 5-10 minute drive from the centre / waterfront. To summarise: Very helpful staff, quiet location, clean accommodation. We would come again.

The accommodation is located outside the touristic center, which makes it calm and peaceful. It’s still easily accessible with a scooter — and you can conveniently rent one directly on site. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.

Located in Moalboal, 300 metres from Panagsama Beach, Roos Guesthouse has a garden and a terrace. It also features a a bar and a seating/lounge area. We stayed 10 days at Roos Guesthouse and had from the minute we arrived to the minute we left a wonderful time. I highly recommend staying there. The whole staff was extremely kind and welcoming. Werner and Hanna (the hosts) checked daily on us and offered their help with anything we asked and could have asked for. They where always up for a good chat and gave us a lot of recommendations and information about the island and the local people/ the local life there. I think that’s what we liked most about our time in Roos Guesthouse. It has a really warm and homey atmosphere. Despite that there are a lot of further very pleasant features: they offer laundry service, massages, some tours to the best waterfalls and canyoning spots in Cebu. The breakfast in Roos Guesthouse is a all day breakfast, you chose when you want to eat and when you‘re out or short on time they prepare some sandwiches instead of the breakfast. The coffee was fresh brewed and very good as well. The room was basic but very nice, very clean and had everything we needed. A good working AC, a fridge and a private bathroom + hot shower. The guesthouse is located only a few walking minutes from the beach, but not directly on the main street so the nights where surprisingly quiet.

The place was nice, clean, and VERY homey, great for people travelling with their friends and family. I like the fact that they have a microwave, clothing iron, a mini fridge in the room, and a water dispenser outside the rooms. They also have a laundromat downstairs, which was very convenient by the way, that was affordable. The owner was VERY nice and accommodating and they also gave us everything we needed upon our requests like extra blankets or utensils, trash pick-up, and such. They also have affordable breakfast options that they deliver to you room when you order. Oh, and the view outside the window when the sun was setting WAS amazing! Over all, it was a pleasant stay I wiill definitely recommend it to friends or family.
