Don’t let the lack of reviews put you off! This place is new and we had a great stay. Good location away from the noise, but only 7 minute walk to the centre. The road is a dirt road, but only a tiny section got muddy when it rained, so very easy to traverse. Also somewhat well lit. The staff were incredibly friendly and so lovely. They’d honestly do anything for you. We were running late for our ferry and they drove us themselves to the port. The room was really clean and the place is new. You also get a bug light in the room, which gives you peace of mind against mosquitoes. You’re also provided a kettle with coffee and some shampoo and body wash. The shower was on the colder side, but the pressure was amazing, best we’ve had so far. You are near local families, so expect some animal noises but it wasn’t too bothersome.

I stayed at Bossert Residence for almost 1 month. If I were to go back to Panglao I would definitely be staying here again. The location is great, in a calm area but close to the main town. Rooms are spacious and clean and the residence is surrounded by nature. Rudolf and Josephine are very welcoming and always happy to help you during your staying. Thank you for the hospitality :)

There are only three cabins so it's very quiet and peaceful. As a solo traveller, it was great to have my own cabin with a comfortable bed and an electric fan to keep me cool at night. There is a handy kitchen to prepare food and the free coffee and water was an added bonus. I rented a scooter from the hostel owner to explore the island which was great.

Upon arrival we were immediately greeted with kindness and excellent hospitality. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. While there is no air conditioning we slept very comfortably in the night with a fan on. Elvira and Alex were super helpful in giving us recommendations and allowing us to borrow their snorkel equipment to check out some cool spots. Elvira also offers a freshly cooked breakfast in the morning for 150₽ and we rented scooters from them as well for 300₽. Overall, Elvira’s Homestay is an incredible place to relax and enjoy the peaceful nature. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to others!!
