We stayed at Northlanders for 3 nights, and it was an amazing experience, one of the best I’ve ever had. The room was very comfortable, clean, and peaceful, it honestly felt like staying in a 5-star hotel. The owner Sikandar bhai was a great person and always replied quickly whenever I texted him. The food was delicious! Haider bhai was very kind and helpful, even when I asked for tea late at night, he always provided it with a smile. He is also an excellent cook, and his Chicken Karahi became our favorite. Haider bhai kindness and smile is true reflection of their culture. Mehadi bhai was also wonderful. He arranged a car for us and was very cooperative throughout our trip. He helped us find good shopping areas and even waited patiently for hours (4-5 hrs) with a friendly smile. We always found him supportive and helpful. A big thank you to Haider bhai, Mehadi bhai, and Sikandar bhai. You all are amazing! Whether someone is traveling alone or with family, I would 100% recommend Northlanders. They make you feel safe, cared for, and right at home. We’ll definitely come back next year, there’s no place better than this!

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Arsalan was an exceptional host and took great care of me during my stay. From the scrumptious green tea and cookie on arrival through to the unforgettable tours that he took me on with excellent value. And when I came down with food poisoning from a local eatery, he went over and above to ensure I was taken care of and nursed back to health. Furthermore, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the WiFi was top notch for this region. Also the shower had excellent hot water and they have solar power so any local power outages will not disrupt you. They also have an additional cafe on site where you can enjoy local and international cuisine from their local chef. Skardu is an amazing place and if you have the opportunity to visit, there is no other place I recommend more because honestly Arsalan deserves to have this place booked out every night. I feel so privileged to have stayed here and meet such a gracious host and his lovely and warm family.

A Home Away from Home in the Heart of Nature Our stay at Mountain Face Guest House was simply amazing. The hospitality of Mr. Sana Ullah and his son Haseeb made us feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our stay. We even cooked our own meals, and Haseeb was always there to assist us — just like a family member. The environment was warm and friendly, with breathtaking views all around. The guest house is beautifully nestled among mountains and greenery, offering a peaceful retreat away from the city rush. One of the best parts is that Manthal Buddha Rock is just a 15-minute walk from the guest house — a perfect short hike to an amazing historical site. Also, the breakfast was amazing! Make sure to try the local breakfast — it’s fresh, delicious, and a great way to start your day. Would definitely love to come back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Skardu!

As a foreign guest, I was blown away by the stunning views, warm hospitality, and peaceful atmosphere. Clean rooms, tasty food, and a perfect location for exploring Skardu. A truly memorable stay!

Where to start? Staying at Pacific guest house is pure joy. Siraj started communicating with me very early before my arrival, and he was there picking me up from the airport the day I arrived. I stayed with this wonderful family for 10 days and every day i felt i was pampered like in my own family. As I was working remote, they ensured I always had perfect internet (I always did!) electricity and everying needed (a good desk and chair, and tea to keep me going during the day). I had amazing conversations with Siraj and his super smart sister (Hulya) who are incredible humans, and also mum and dad are always working around and super helpful. The property is beatiful and the garden is incredible, with all kind of flowers, fruits and veggies. Every day I'd take my breakfast in the garden (any time it suited me, as they adapt) and they also supported me with all help I needed. Even I got sick one day and they ensured I had the right bland foods, the needed care and the right guidance. I cannot recommend enough this beautiful place and this gorgeous family. The rooms are spacious, light and comfy. I absolutely loved it! Location a bit uphill outside of the center, but it's a lovely walk (really nice after diinner) and the neighbours are so nice and kind that is a joy just to pass by every day. It's a 20 minute walk up to ManthaBudha rock too and on the way to Sadpara lake.

Alpen Hotel Skardu se află în Skardu. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and comfortable. There was wifi, hot shower, comfortable bed, 24/7 electricity and on top of that, the best staff ever. I genuinely recommend it.

My long time favorite place in Gilgit for the past 6 months, on and off in Gilgit Baltistan; the perfect place to stay or to come back. Modern and newly built guest house, ideally located In a quiet residential area right in Al Saba Chowk, a few minutes walk to the main road. Do not miss this gems in busy and often overpriced Gilgit, where competitors are mediocre and overpriced at best. Especially in the harsh winter season. 24 hours hot shower and decent Wifi available here. Ranked in my top 3 list of my semester in Pakistan's hotels. Anywhere else would be minimum and easily double price or matching here at least a 4 stars. From the modern luxury home style and elegant room decoration to the welcoming and friendly staff, adding a value to what is already the best option by far. Highly recommended.
