São Francisco Accomodation har gratis WiFi og ligger i en renoveret bygning med 6 etager og elevator. Der tilbydes moderne værelser i Funchal, blot 5 minutters gang fra havnen. Et fint værelse. Der var pænt og rent. Udmærket morgenmad. Beliggenheden er rigtig fin - midt i Funchal. Der er masser af restauranter lige i nærheden og desuden et stor indkøbscenter et par hundrede meter væk.

Refúgio das Fontes ligger i Senhora do Rosário, 20 km fra De naturlige swimmingpool i Porto Moniz. Her et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis wi-fi. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. Host was really clear in the instructions and willing to help with anything we needed. The house is really spacious and clearly well taken care of. The hot tub is a nice touch. The shower was perfect. We want to mention how grateful we are for the flexibility of our host, with a special request of ours... It really helped us out when we needed it. Would recommend this place to stay at. Kitchen well equipped, coffee machine was nice, fridge was nice and big.

S A L - Beach Apartments Caniçal har udsigt til byen og ligger i Machico, 5 minutters gang fra Praia Pedra D'eira Strand. Great place. New. Balcony in Room 5 was nice to sit and have a beer from the local supermarket (the coffee/pastry shop and small supermarket right past the church are great - staff speak either great English or pretty good English). We overlooked the water- nice. I posted a pic from the balcony. There was also a skylight over the bed if you like stars. Housekeeping was wonderful, and we asked Pedro (very very responsive) for extra towels on Saturday because they're off on Sunday. No problem. Fridge is nice, coffee/pods provided in room were also great, but it was nice to wander down to one of the shops after a day of hiking/sightseeing and sit and have a cup outside. Also- nice places to eat all around, O Recante was fabulous (oh, I'll remember that dessert for a long time) and we had a super nice inexpensive dinner at Muralha's Bar. I can't find any fault with the place other than what I'm sure will be a brief one as they're apparently enlarging the parking area (if they haven't finished already!).

Horizon Retreat ligger i Calheta og tilbyder indkvartering med udendørs pool (der er åben hele året), gratis wi-fi, en have og en terrasse. This was amazing -- I was shocked that such an breathtakingly wonderful place was available and so reasonably priced! It turns out that I had lucked out -- the owner wasn't expecting other renters, so I had the place virtually to myself. Alan (the owner) is generous and kind, and he was loads of fun to chat with -- so many stories. It felt more like staying with an old friend than some random hotel. The grounds are amazing and immaculately kept, the room is spacious, and the pool was kept at a blissful 30C, perfect for swimming at night. Honestly, I'm just a little mad at myself for not staying longer. Oh one other thing: Alan has an adorable, old sweet dog named Jeff, and Jeff really enhanced the stay by being such a good boy.

Profetas GuestHouse ligger i Porto Santo og har en have, fælles opholdsområde, en terrasse og bar. Overnatningsstedet ligger 12 minutters gang fra Porto Santo Strand og har grillfaciliteter. We really enjoy our time at Profetas Guesthouse. They offer pick-up and drop-off for 5€/pers from and to the ferry terminal which is really nice and their communication was excellent ! The rooms were clean, spacious, really comfortable and the breakfast was so delicious and generous. They also offer to rent some quads with them for a very affordable price which we did and it was a great way to discover the island. And the host were just amazing. They were nice, thoughtful, always giving us recommendations on what to visit, where to go and to eat. They went above and beyond to make our stay at their place a fantastic experience. I truly recommend this place.

Cozy House ligger i Funchal, 5,4 km fra Funchal Marina og 12 km fra Cabo Girão. Her er en have og en bar samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. The house! As the name says... It's COZY!!! It has everything you need. Beds were very comfortable . It was very clean and had extra blankets and also AC. So we were able to sleep very nicely. The water heater was amazing! After staying in a hotel where The water didn't even heat to adequate warm level, showering in this house felt amazing ! It heated instantly. There was welcome snacks and coffee so we enjoyed that too. Loved everything!!!! Also, loved the labels on everything! It's the small details that mattered so much ❤️

Vale dos Ilhéus ligger i Machico og har en have, fælles opholdsområde og terrasse samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. Fátima is an amazing host. Super warm and friendly and made me feel home straight away. The room is beautifully decorated and spacious. Really enjoyed the stay!

ARTIST HOUSE Rooms With View And Shared Kitchen ligger i Arco da Calheta, 2,5 km fra Caminho Faja do Mar Strand, og har en terrasse samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. Property is well located and has amazing sunset views. The host was really helpful and the property was clean and tidy everyday. All the appliances were new and worked perfectly.

Belle Vue ligger i São Jorge og har en have, fælles opholdsområde og terrasse samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. Everything. If i was to come back to Madeira I wouldn't look anywhere else, best place by far, good price, extremely clean, lovely attention, very comfortable rooms and common areas, a designated parking spot outside of the house. And the views! I am sorry we didn't stay longer.
