It was a perfect stop for the slow boat journey, the couple that run the place are so amazing, you immediately feel at home with them! They even picked us up at the border and dropped us off at the bus station!

Located in a peaceful area of Chiang Rai, Gita's House offers a friendly guesthouse, a 15-minute drive away from the Bus Terminal. One of the best places we stayed in Thailand. The people, facilities and everything else was really good. We rented a bike from them and used it during our stay without any issues. The daily breakfast was decent and location very good with walkable distance to clock tower/center of the town.

It really is a kids paradise. Pool is clean. Our girl loved feeding the rabbits. Lots of other kids for her to play with too, she didn't want to leave. Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is nice too. You can make you own waffles and lots of fresh fruit. We would definitely go back but would like a more modern room.

The location of the property is perfect, close to everything and quiet ! Alex and his family are very welcoming. He managed to pick us up from the airport and to gave us really good advices. The breakfast is perfect! Honestly, we highly recommend this place to anyone who comes to Chiang Rai.

We loved our stay at Bambur. Our room was stunning and in a bush setting overlooking rice paddies. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet and a short bike ride to places to eat (we tried all those recommended and they were great)and the Baan Dam Museum. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinner a couple of times at Bambur which was absolutely delicious.
