The owner Andrea along with Samia and her family were the perfect hosts, exceptionally friendly, helpful always smiling and made us feel very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We had a large room with double bed, twin bed and a little dressing room alcove. Everything felt authentic, tile work, painted coffered ceiling, window latticework. You do need to walk through part of the medina to reach it, it felt quite safe and was well lit at night. There are actually 3 houses that form Dar Baaziz, each a short distance from the others. Our breakfast was served in the 3rd house and was ample, although the coffee was awful. There are steps in the alleyways and it's steep in places so it would be difficult with a lot of luggage since you can't get there by taxi. WARNING the medina is full of stray cats and kittens and it made us sad to see this every time we walked around.
