Chau Doc in general is a very beautiful place with rice fields all around and Tra su forest as the main attraction.

What made this stay absolutely fantastic was the owner (and her lovely mother!). So helpful and friendly - going out of their way to help us (e.g. finding an open vegetarian place for dinner, translating at a nearby shop, booking bus tickets for us). We can highly recommend Homestay Chau Doc. Its not a fancy place at all, but had everything we needed (4 females).

Spent 2 days at the homestay, incredible host, helped us book a boat for the floating market, bus to Châu Đọc and was really eager to help and make us comfortable. The place is clean. Thank you for the kindness.

Nina homestay P1, P4 situa-se em Ap My Quo, na região de An Giang, e tem uma varanda e vista da cidade. The room was spacious, clean and very lovingly decorated. We had a balcony from which you can't see the river, because unfortunately there are buildings in the way, but it was pleasant to sit outside. The wifi is very good, I was able to do my work with it. What we also noticed was that all light switches in the room were marked with stickers in English. That was great, so we knew exactly which switch was intended for what. The mattress is hard, which we like very much and the nights were, except for a very noisy arrival, very quiet. We found the owner particularly wonderful. Although she hardly spoke English, we were able to arrange our onward transport with her with the help of the translator app. In addition, an English-speaking friend of hers came to help, who gave us a piece of paper with instructions for the bus drivers. The two ladies were so helpful and we are very grateful for that.

Apresentando um jardim, um salão partilhado e um restaurante, Happy Homestay apresenta acomodações em Ấp An Phú com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e vista do rio. Truc and her family were so kind, accommodating and giving! We stayed for 5 nights and loved the quiet and local experience. We didn’t see another tourist until our last night when another guest was at the homestay. Their home was really nice and had plenty of fans and mosquito nets around the beds. It was nice to just relax in the hammocks and unwind but we also did the floating market tour (which I recommend), karaoke, rode bicycles around town & learnt to cook with Trucs mum. Truc also helped us learn some Vietnamese and arranged our transport to and from her home which was a great help. Thank you so much for everything!!

Nice building, very cosy place. Lift for the luggage. Room was nice and clean. The kitchen was a must. The landlady is helpful, but doesn't speak English (thank you google trad)...

HOMESTAY VILLA apresenta vista do lago, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito em Chau Doc. We rented a whole villa which was supposed to have 3 bedrooms with A/C and private bathrooms. It turns out that the third bedroom was in the attic with only a little opening for a window. The A/C was very noisy and only worked intermittently. On top of it all, the bathroom was located on the ROOF and it can only be reached by walking across the roof and out in the rain! Finally the property is located on a Main Street where large trucks pass through at all hours of day and night.
