For what concerns the excursion by boat - the service experienced was really fantastic and couldn't ask for more. Bycicles are also available for free and in very good conditions to explore the Mekong countryside autonomously. If you go in the Mekong Delta area of Can Tho you simply need to book with Vam Xang Rustic and don't look further as it is an outstanding experience of Mekong Delta at a very reasonable price for the full set of service provided!

We came to Can Tho as a stop on a two-week holiday in Vietnam. Mekong Farmstay is a perfect place as a platform for excursions of the Mekong delta. It has a welcoming atmosphere and the owner - Human - is the most caring and nice host you can imagine. We visited flooating market with Human as guide, borrowed bicycles, etc.

It was better than shown online, idyllic setting and an accomodating base for exploring the Mekong delta in its truest sense. Attentive staff, especially Phi, made it welcoming and while it is easy to fall into touristic tropes Phi was able to guide us into a Can Tho rarely seen from visitors. I spent two days and was regretful I had a flight already booked as I would happily have made that my home whilst thoroughly getting to know the delta way of life. Dream like.

The host family, Phoenix, Bosa and their son Hung made us feel very welcome. Phoenix' cooking is exceptional and we felt like we had a proper Vietnamese experience with the family. The food is the best we had in our 3 and a half week trip around Vietnam. The setting, with the hammocks overlooking the river was very relaxing. If you're looking for a relaxed, authentic experience, this is the place for you. Their three dogs and Elliot the duck helped keep our kids entertained.

This has been one of my most pleasant travel experiences ever. Tuan, his family and employees are warm, fun and welcoming. The home stay is like a little oasis, with a well maintained pool and absolutely delicious food. It was great eating dinner communally and trying so many amazing local dishes and ingredients. A highlight of my entire trip in Vietnam was going to the land market with Tuan (after visiting the floating markets) and picking out food for dinner. I highly recommend doing this, as well as borrowing the bikes and exploring the streets and rivers of this pocket of the delta. The locals are absolutely lovely, as is the nature around. If you like to be kept very busy, then two nights is perfect - you can do both tours, and take yourself around on the bikes. If you are happy with a little time to relax like I am, then more nights is good! I stayed two but I wish I had stayed three or four to decompress. There are hammocks, the pool, and you can do relaxed little bike rides. I highly highly recommend! And a huge thank you to Tuan and his family, I will forever be grateful to you for letting me into your home.

After a week in Vietnam this was my first stay that I really understood what Vietnamese hospitality could and should be like. The host was extremely helpful in all aspects and spoke good english. She not only explains the best way to get to her, but she provided early check in free of charged, gave me a glass of a cold drink and explained everything about the city and gave me a map. And ofcourse I was going there to see the floating markets and the Mekong delta, so I took her guided tour by boat, the price is realy fair and in the tour she will tell you about the local life, you will see 2 floating markets and a few noodle making factories. The host will feed you, give you drinks and sweets, take care of you and will book all your travel needs to continue your journey. She booked all the busses needed for my next destination, a car took me to and from her house for free and I was all set without needing to spend hours searching and googling my way around. Much recommended, be sure to take her tour when you come and just relax and enjoy your time!

The house is new and beautiful, with an elevator. The dining area has a small kitchen that's fully equipped—with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishes, and even essentials like fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, and a full set of spices. Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.
