While doing the Ha Giang Loop, I stayed at this homestay for one night, and honestly, it felt like the most “home-like” place on my entire journey. This is an old traditional house located near the town, not overly luxurious, but incredibly warm and clean. Staying here truly felt like living in a local family’s home. That evening, I had a delicious hotpot made with fresh local ingredients. The flavors were so unique and special. Sitting by a small fireplace while enjoying dinner, I found myself at a loss for words to describe the warmth and comfort of that moment. I also had a long and meaningful conversation with the host, who is a local teacher teaching English to children in the area—a truly inspiring social project. If you’re on the Ha Giang Loop and looking for the most authentic local experience, I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

An’s house is outside of the city so it is so quiet and peaceful and such a lovely getaway! A booked all my bus tickets and planned a tour of the Ha Giang Loop for me. She even gave me her clothes to borrow since it was going to be cold. Her and her staff are amazing cooks and they made a beautiful family style dinner each night. My loop tour was just me and my guide so it was really special. We stayed in small homestays with families and went on beautiful hikes. I can’t say enough good things about An, she is an amazing woman!

And they can clean it everyday for you • Beds - very comfortable • Comfort room - I’m sensitive about bathrooms but I was impressed here. It was clean! There are also extra toothbrush, soaps, shampoos and tissues you can use. And it has hot shower! • Room is air conditioned, has electric fan, tv, has cabinet with huge space, a table, a chair, blower, tea, electric kettle, bottled water, there’s also refill, and other things you may need • has laundry area • Let’s not forget how kind and helpful the OWNER and the STAFFS. There might be a language barrier but they try their best to to help and they have been really very helpful. They call drivers for you, guide you, walk you out if you’re lost, drive you, etc. • Location is perf! Just a few minutes from the market. It maybe near the market but still very quiet. • wifi is fast!
