After the initial activity-packed 3 weeks in Vietnam, we decided for something different, so we chose the Eco Lagoon to relax before continuing on to Cambodia. And it was different, having a couple of restful days, spending more time around local communities and with the friendly Eco Lagoon team. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. Chau was always there, in attendance should we need anything, or at the bar to prepare refreshing drinks, glad to talk with us in order to further improve her good English. Đau helped with our luggage, chef Ye-Ye prepared a delicious Cobia fish for dinner, and the young artist Phong (Fau) readily drove me on his motorbike to a nearby clinic to disinfect my wound when I stepped on a screw in the street. Phong is graduating at the painting arts academy, he is voluntarily helping out at the Eco Lagoon (owned by Peter, his mentor and an accomplished artist). We also enjoyed together a fresh seafood barbecue at sunset, prepared by Jimmy, who has a makeshift bar at the nearby beach. Jimmy actually goes with you on his bike to the street market where you choose and buy fresh fish, shrimp, squid, oysters… of your choice which he then prepares for you, on his little charcoal grill on the beach.

The room is clean and spacious, the bed is comfortable and the front yard brightens up your day. We absolutely loved the restaurant owned by the family. We ate there all the time and were mind blown by how tasty everything was! The host is an amazing woman, she is so friendly and positive! She smiles all the time and makes you feel like family! Plus, she helped me and my boyfriend with everything, from booking taxis to and from the airport to booking tours. We were so sad to leave. It's one of those places you wish you'd be coming back to and we have bragged about our lovely Phu Quoc Stay to all the people we've met later during our trip! Plus, the location is perfect for exploring the island both north and south of Duong Dong, because it's very well served by tour buses. Also, plenty of stores, restaurants, massage studious and shops nearby The beach is 3 mins away and you can watch the sunset from there..

Had a really nice x1 night stay. Price/ value ratio was excellent. Fantastic location in the heart of downtown. Abundance of food options nearby. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Owner is so nice and clearly pours her love into her guesthouse. So many thoughtful touches. Immaculately clean. I could see my face in the floor tiles at reception lol. Highly recommended :)

El Bungalow Mai Phuong Binh, situado a 250 metros de la playa, ofrece alojamiento en la principal ciudad de Phu Quoc, Duong Dong. This was the best acommodation! Breakfast was incredible and stuff was really friendly. Everything great!❤️✨ We want to come again.

Everything was good! The room was clean and comfortable, and everything smelled fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is right in the center of Duong Dong, close to many restaurants and cafes. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and each floor has large terraces with stunning views as well. There’s also a washing machine available for guests to use, which was very convenient. The sunsets were absolutely perfect, and we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for another week.

We had a wonderful stay! My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary here, and everything was just perfect. The hotel was very comfortable and perfectly quiet, ideal for a relaxing trip. We had so cozy, clean and beautiful room. The staff are extremely respectful, friendly, and always ready to help, the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and safe. Very important, there was no any extra payment. If you're truly looking to relax this is the perfect place. Would happily come back again!
