The best hostel in Australia! Crew were amazing, the manager Diego too. Pods have a light, socket, shelves, curtain, underbed comparement for storage. Hostel does not have huge common area, but it has homy atmosphere and enough space, also a small corner for workout. Breakfast are the best ever, dinner are very delicious and every day is different meal.

Good cheap hostel in a top location, surrounded by bars and restaurants and a 20 min walk from the CBD but with bus stops all around as well, Room was clean and tidy as was the Kitchen facilities. Nice little communal area with Darts board and a tv, staff were excellent, friendly and helpful even with things like helping the both of us find work, would recommend to anyone travelling Australia as I had no faults whatsoever.

I found the location to be convenient and only a short distance from the things i wanted to see and do.The room was clean with crisp clean sheets and only a short distance to toilets and showers. The bed was comfortable and there was a quite remarkable quietness during the nights after going to bed.As a traveller over many years i enjoyed conversations with the young people i met in Shingos.Jo, the manager, made me feel most welcome on checkin and assisted with a winery trip i had organised during my stay. She offered to help further if needed.

All hostels in Adelaide

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Nice staff (very helpful organising your time and tourist activities to make the best of your time there, according to your needs, a and budget). Great atmosphere. Clean and comfy facilities and big, easy-to-lock lockers in the room. Well organised in general. I think, so far, the best hostel I have been to in Australia. Not the cheapest in Adelaide, but there is a good reason for that, Totally worth it.

I liked the common area, there is many sofas and tables. Kitchen looked good as well. The manager is lovely and caring and so were the guests. Very respectful and quiet, it is a small hostel and felt like a safe environment. It is probably the cheapest hostel i found on my 1.5 year australia trip

great location next to semaphore beach and a short 10-15 min drive from the city. Derrick was VERY helpful on front desk, ensured we kept our double room for as long as we needed it due to car troubles & the hostel seems like it’s been renovated including rooms, kitchen, toilets/showers & security is amazing! never felt unsafe and everyone was very friendly! definitely recommend staying here (also free parking over the road for 24 hours which is great!) will stay again for sure if in Adelaide
