I don’t really like hostels and sharing spaces as I’ve been in way too many at this point. Nevertheless this place is my favourite in Cairns, and probably in Australia too. Sharing kitchen is always clean, enough and clean bathrooms, superb staff, people really respects the rules, quiet at night and absolutely comfy beds. Makes me feel like in a little home.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The property is close to the airport. They have a lot of social activities and a WhatsApp community with the announcements so you don’t miss out. They have the cheapest food and drink prices I’ve seen in my time in Australia and the food was delicious.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
