Went back 3 times. The place is huge, the showers hot (although no doors, just a curtain), bed are confortables and the place clean. There is a bar/restaurant on site which is really practical.

First of all, the hotel is just two blocks from the bus station. The location is very convenient. It is recommended for those who take the night bus and catch the bus. The host speaks English well and communicates very nice.He will introduce you to any questions if you may have. I took the night bus that day and booked here. I arrived very early. Although I couldn't check in, I could store my luggage. The lovely host arranged my room on the third floor with a very good view. I was very touched. The whole hotel is better than the photos, and it is very cheap. There is also the best hoster in La Paz. I recommend it!

The Room was big and clean, with windows and a nice view too. The shower was one of the best we had in South America, very clean, nice water pressure and hot water. The stuff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast at the rooftop was delicious.

Lovely old building. Quiet area, close to everything. Chilled hostel. Staff very informative. Good breakfast. No kitchen for cooking, which is one less thing to complain about.

This place is wonderful! We were not sure what to expect from accomodation in La Paz. And we were very happy to find this hostal and how great it is! Good value for money, big rooms and very good location. Street is quiet and you don't hear any noise to your rooms. You have kitchen you can use, terrace and very good breakfast in the morning. What is more - whole place has wonderful atmosphere with nice furniture, lots of books and various decorations all over the place. You can easily feel here like at home.

This is the place to start you trip across Bolivia if you want to get invaluable advice about where to go and how to behave in the city. Especially if your Spanish is not too strong (Diego is an amazing guide with perfect English, who is also the nicest person). The vibes in the hostel are great and very friendly, you really feel like a part of a community. The rooms are decent, everything is clean and functional. We were very lucky to spend our first days in the country here!! Highly recommended!!

The room we booked for 3 nights was for a double and two single beds, but when we arrived it was a very small room with only 2 single beds. We asked if was possible to have a double bed at least for the two nights after but they said that the rooms were booked. In the end there wasn't a lot of people in the hotel and the rooms which had 3 singles but was a lot bigger wasn't even proposed to us. At the end for paying if we didn't pay in dollars we had to pay even more than the black market exchange rate in Bolivianos, or 5% commission on card. Paying the black market rate is obviously illegal. To be fair we left later than the checkout time without charge which for me is the least they can do. It could be a good place but when you pay the normal exchange rate on ATMs is not nice to pay an extra 40%. There is a continuous smell of diesel as well but you get used to it ...
