Highly recommended. Very nice and familiar staff, I met David at the reception and he helped me to make a plan for my one day visit. I didn’t have much time to try other amenities but the room was clean and cozy. Location is just a few steps from the station and city center.

The location was easily accessible by tram (around 15 minutes by tram from the central main station). The staff were really nice and kind and explained everything well to us (although in broken English, but still understandable). There was a really nice kitchen with a microwave and oven as well as an electric stove. Overall a very comfy stay.

The place is very clean and staff is simply amazing! The break fast was also very good and fresh with lot of options. Overall it was worth it:)

In general, hostels in Switzerland are really good, and this should be an exemplary of how a hostel should be. I reached early morning and was allowed to shower with luggage storage facility, this is definitely something i loved, thank you. Details of shower room and even the storage, remarkable e.g charging port in the storage compartments, hooks to hang clothes.

Everything was extremely clean and the desk workers were super nice. The old town is marvelous and we hiked up to the castle at sunset, which was awesome!

When I arrived I discovered that I had accidentally booked for the following night, not the night I was planning to be there! The staff was able to talk to a fellow that had booked a 4 person dorm all for himself to see if he would be willing to share. I think the fact that I was an older solo traveler helped him agree to this. We ended up getting along well. I was really impressed that staff at check in were willing to go above and beyond to make my stay possible. Plus, it was a comfortable bed.

The Friendly Hostel Zurich was simply fantastic. The host was so kind and helpful, and the facilities were immaculate! I was super impressed, given that this is a hostel. My room was relatively quiet, only some noise from the street, but that's to be expected in the city. The beds were very comfortable, clean, and the rooms were spacious. It was a bonus to sip tea on the rooftop terrace in the morning :) The location was also very convenient! Would highly recommend, and would definitely stay here again!
