Maki is a very confortable with a lot of space for working on a laptop. The wifi is good most of the time. THere was one day when the wifi went out as I was working in the dorm. The staaff kept the hostel clean, and the kitchen was well kept. Maki is the best hostel I have stayed at on Calle Uriolla in Valparaiso, and this is the best so far.

I was very surprised by the friendliness and openness of the staff. The building is an old villa, with a romantic design. I love it. You can find here everything: kitchen, patio, spacious room, no bunk beds and really comfy, great internet, friendly atmosphere and... what I really like, they are sensitive to the environment. The hostel is 10 from the city center and the big, local market. I will definitely return if I will visit Valparaiso once more. Thank you, guys.

Loved it. Very friendly staff members. Great breakfast with homemade bread. Walking distance to great viewpoints and spots in Valparaiso. Spacious and very nice shared bathrooms. Very cheap laundry service which was great.
