Location good, in safe quite area, shops nearby. Kitchen you share with the home. Hot showers which is fab. Beds comfy, linen changed frequently as are towels. Lovely little garden area. As a solo female traveller, I didn't feel unsafe at all. The staff went out of their way to help and to make me feel comfortable getting to the hostel and to my next destination. The hostel is nice and the bed (I slept in a dormiroty) was good. I had a good night of sleep (only waken up because of late arrivals). Safe and quiet area. Great hostel owner, Katty helps with everything including very fair taxi rides to the airport. would highly recommend for anyone coming to or from San Jose airport for a night.
