This was our second stay at Cabinas Algebra, returning after 16 months. I was pleasantly surprised to see the water pressure in the shower was improved. Which, after our first stay, was my only complaint. Now I have no complaints. This property is excellent value. A beautiful paradise in nature, nearby to the beach. The mother and son owners take excellent care of their guests and the on-site restaurant is really good. Highly recommended! We will be back!

My greatest concerns are always how clean bed sheets and bathroom is, and how confortable will the bed be, Nirvana met my expectations. Plus, within a 2 min safe walk you have restaurants, fun, and beach. Thanks Nirvana.

Clean, modern, safe hostel. Great location and value for money. Being an all woman's hostel, made it feel safer. The staff were very helpful too!

Simply one the best Hostel I ever been to. The location is far from Puerto Viejo, of course, but the beach is close (ten minutes by walk), and just a bit further there are three supermarkets and a pharmacy (and you'll find yourself in the main road, pretty easy to do anything). Then, you're staying in a very nice jungle spot. The facilities are great, good kitchen, big rooms (with lockers and plugins). All very clean (you can see how the volunteers are making an effort, they're really great: all the staff is very friendly and helpful). Good common areas with a fantastic atmosphere, very social and easygoing (I would dare say you can actually feel at home: your home in the jungle). Highly recommended :)

Amazing location, beach is beautiful. Staff were super friendly and very helpful (especially Allehandra). The hostel has a very chilled out vibe. Other travellers were respectful, welcoming and friendly. Our room was really nice (clean and spacious). Excellent facilities.
