This was an excellent hostel for the price, so much beyond my expectations considering what we paid for it! Our room was really cozy, although our bathroom lacked hot water (not that uncommon in CR though so we weren’t too worried about it), plus the shared bathroom had a really nice, hot shower so I just used that one. The breakfasts were hot and delicious! One member of staff was less friendly, but he made us the most delicious pancakes for breakfast - so we forgave him instantly! The kitchenette was fully stocked, and the fridge was kept clean and had lots of space - made it very easy to cook our own meals. For the price, in my opinion this can’t be beaten, there are a couple of quirks but there always are with budget hostels. Also, the outside space had the most spectacular view! I highly recommend this place! :)

It’s such a peaceful and quiet place, which I really appreciated. The host has been incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond to assist. The hostel itself is fantastic—a spacious kitchen, a cozy living room where you can watch movies with other travelers, and a beautiful balcony.
